About Us...
A true passion for beautiful spaces led Brooke Johnson and Jann Krone out of the "Corporate" world into a world where they both could fulfill their dreams and passion. They met in a Faux Effects seminar and became fast friends, then business partners. Both were looking for a partner that had the drive for exceptional quality to expand their own individual business, which is how Artisan Studios was created.
Brooke had a business for 5 years under the name of BrushWorks and Jann had a business for 10 years under the name of Artistic Finishes. By combining their respective talents they were able to offer their clients a much more comprehensive portfolio to choose from. Each has been extensively trained by Texturline of Canada, Safra Products from Italy, Faux Effects Products, Modello and TattooWall to name a few. Both are proud to say they have been taught by world renowned artists in the industry.
Their passion, dreams and creativity can be seen in private residences, commercial buildings, corporate offices, design showcase events and numerous parade/dream homes. Collectively they have won various awards and have been interviewed both for radio, newspaper, magazines and books.
They feel that the space you live in should evoke a sense of well being and reflect the "Client's" personality. That is why they spend time with their clients, asking questions, reviewing architecture, and reviewing the purpose of the space so that they have a true sense of what needs to be accomplished to be able to reflect the taste of each client. No pre-determined cookie cutter finishes here! The goal is to give each client their own signature finish.
